I highly recommend About the House. We contacted a few asbestos companies and they were the only ones who bothered to reply. John came around on a Sunday and took the time to look around our property identifying what needed removing. We found him patient, honest and committed to providing a good service. Office staff are also easy to deal with and very helpful. Job was done efficiently and expertly with certifications etc. They even provided temp fencing because we had a pool fence removed.
We went with About the house based on previous reviews. We wanted someone who takes pride in their work and puts a priority on safety. We were very happy with them and we would highly recommend them.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, however About the House were outstanding. They treated my home as if it were there own, carefully removing what was needed panel by panel. They were super neat and tidy, using a special purpose triple stage vacuum as they went. They sealed all areas as they went with PVA glue. I have complete confidence in these guys and would recommend them to anyone concerned about asbestos. I will definitely be getting them in for my next project.
John came to give a quote the same day we phoned. A few days later, Phil, Geoff and Patrick came to our house to demolish our old rear awning. They arrived on time, they were polite and courteous, they left our place clean and tidy AND most importantly they did a great job. From start to finish these guys were on the ball. We were very impressed and would certainly recommend them.
